Automatically adjusts messaging, timing, and prominence in real time based on individual traveler behavior, company-wide patterns, and policy thresholds -- without any manual intervention. A first-time traveler sees helpful orientation and training. After a second policy violation, messaging becomes more urgent and specific. When 85% of colleagues stay at the preferred hotel, that peer data gets shown. When someone books in advance 3 times in a row, positive reinforcement appears. The system continuously analyzes patterns and adjusts guidance so travel managers never have to manually escalate or segment communications.

How It Works

Adaptive Personalization is the real-time adjustment layer that sits on top of the Smart Prioritization Engine. While the engine determines which message to show, Adaptive Personalization determines how to show it -- the tone, urgency, data points, and prominence.

The system tracks three dimensions:

  1. Individual history -- What has this traveler done? Are they improving or getting worse?

  2. Company context -- What are the norms? Is there strong peer data to leverage?

  3. Policy thresholds -- Where does this traveler stand relative to explicit policy requirements?

Based on these inputs, the same tactic (e.g., advance booking) can present completely differently to two travelers. One sees educational content ("Did you know booking 14 days out saves your team an average of $180?"). Another sees escalating guidance ("Your last 3 trips were booked within 5 days. Company policy requires 14 days. 90% of travelers meet this requirement.").
