Product details

Tripkicks integrates directly into SAP Concur, providing the data pipeline (booking history, traveler profiles, policy parameters) and the delivery channel for all Catalyst guidance. This is the core connection that makes point-of-decision intervention possible. Individual touchpoints within Concur (Home Page, Flight Search, Hotel Search, Search Results, Expense) each have their own product reference entries with specific capabilities and visuals.

How It Works

The Concur integration is the foundation of Catalyst's point-of-decision approach. It provides both the data inputs (booking history, traveler behavior, policy rules) and the delivery channel (tiles, modals, inline notes, search result overlays).

When a traveler opens Concur, Catalyst is already active:

  • Home page shows pre-trip guidance, upcoming trip information, and anytime messaging

  • Flight search shows carrier-specific attributes, rate intelligence, and rail alternatives

  • Hotel search shows preferred supplier data, peer comparison, and sustainability indicators

  • Booking confirmation reinforces good decisions with positive messaging

  • Expense submission provides post-trip guidance and pattern recognition

All of this happens seamlessly within the existing Concur experience -- travelers don't need to learn a new tool or visit a separate portal.

I'm going to new york for a few meetings on Friday. My last meeting isn't until later in the afternoon... like 4pm. Can I stay in NYC Friday night and come back home saturday?

You can extend your business trip to include a personal stay if you follow the proper process. The policy allows adding a personal leg to your business itinerary as long as expenses are clearly separated and you request it with your original travel booking. For flights, if your combined business-personal itinerary costs the same or less than the business-only fare, there's no additional cost. If it costs more, you'll pay the difference on your personal card. The policy doesn't specify detailed requirements for hotel extensions or approval processes for weekend stays, so I'd recommend checking with your Travel Program team about the specific steps for extending your Friday night meeting trip through Saturday. They can guide you through the approval process and expense separation requirements.
