The Search Results / Inline touchpoint represents the data overlays that appear directly within Concur's flight and hotel search result listings. Unlike tiles and modals (which appear in dedicated UI zones), inline content is woven into the results themselves -- supplier attribute icons on hotel cards, inline note pills highlighting key amenities or program status, and rate target indicators showing price benchmarks. This is the most granular touchpoint, operating at the individual search result level to help travelers compare options with Catalyst intelligence embedded directly in their decision context.

How It Works

The Search Results / Inline touchpoint is distinct from the tile and modal system. Rather than appearing in dedicated sidebar or overlay zones, inline content is embedded directly within Concur's search result listings — woven into the fabric of the results themselves.

This works through two primary mechanisms. Supplier attribute icons are small visual badges that appear on individual hotel or flight cards. For hotels, these show amenities and program indicators (breakfast, parking, cancellation policy, sustainability certification). For flights, they can indicate preferred carrier status or contract tier. These icons are powered by the Application Imports system — CSV-based uploads that map specific hotel or airline codes to specific attribute badges.

Inline note pills are short text labels that appear alongside search results, highlighting key information that might otherwise require clicking into the property or flight details. Examples include "Negotiated Rate," "New to Program," "Free Cancellation Until 6PM," or "SBTi Committed." These are delivered through the Messaging Imports system.

Rate target indicators are visual cues (typically color-coded) that show whether a hotel's current price is above, at, or below the client's rate benchmark for that market. This creates an immediate price anchor without requiring the traveler to know the benchmark themselves.

The inline touchpoint is the most subtle but often most effective delivery channel — it influences decisions without asking travelers to engage with separate content.
